ANNUAL FESTIVAL DEBATE


Napier University’s Centre for Festival and Event Management (CFEM) hosts its annual free Festival Fringe event – the Festival Debate - on 14 August 2006 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at Dancebase in Edinburgh’s Grassmarket.

The topic for this year’s debate is ‘Cultural Integrity vs Political Interference: What future for Festivals?’ and Lesley Riddoch, one of Scotland’s leading broadcast journalists, will chair the session which will include well known practioners in the festival and event sector.
