According to Una Fahy in her book HOW TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE FOR GAYS AND LESBIANS," men and women are the most hated and feared people in America." The rise of the Radical Christian Fundamentalism has spawned numerous organizations that agressively encourage Americans to reject progressive social change. Allan Ball's play FIVE WOMEN WEARING THE SAME DRESS confronts these issues from a feminine perspective and tries to encourage the issue of acceptance of diversity.
